Psychosocial immaturity is strongly related to youth and criminality, while psychosocial maturity is associated with desistance from crime. The aim of this study was to develop and validate a psychosocial maturity screening tool for young adult men (18+) convicted of crime, in order to better understand the needs of this group and to improve targeting and provision of services.
